Elegant, beautifully proportioned and dating from around 1810, this delightful pair of Regency lustres is a wonderful example of the refined craftsmanship of the period. Small in scale but rich in detail, they have a timeless elegance that makes them just as appealing today as they were over two hundred years ago.
Each lustre is dressed with traditional rule drops suspended from double-point buttons, while the hand-polished saw-tooth cutting around the rim adds crisp definition and beautifully catches the light. Whether displayed in natural daylight or illuminated by candlelight, the finely cut glass creates delicate reflections that bring warmth and atmosphere to any room.
Measuring approximately 15cm high and 9cm in diameter, they’re perfectly suited to a mantelpiece, sideboard, console table or display cabinet. Their compact size makes them incredibly versatile, proving that smaller pieces can have just as much presence as larger decorative objects.
